On September 24th, 1993 Dazed and Confused was released and showed us what it was like to live in the 70s. The movie starts out on the last day of school at Lee High School in Baytown, TX. Next year's group of seniors are preparing for the annual hazing of incoming freshmen. The school's star football player is asked to sign a pledge promising not to take drugs during the summer which would jeopardize the upcoming football season. The rest of the movie centers around that summer and the trouble that ensues.
While the movie didn't do so well at the box office, it was a hit by many, including Quentin Tarantino who listed it as the 10th best film of all time in a Sight and Sound poll. The movie also had a large cast that would later become stars, including Jason London, Ben Affleck, Milla Jovovich, Cole Hauser, Parker Posey, Adam Goldberg, Joey Lauren Adams, Matthew McConaughey, Nicky Katt, and Rory Cochrane.
